As you are undoubtedly aware, the effects of coronavirus (COVID-19) is having an unprecedented impact on Australia, and the world at large.
Given these extraordinary circumstances and the sanctions rightly introduced by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus we will be postponing the Long Drive for Drought, with the view of rescheduling for late 2020.
It’s obviously with sadness that the event needs to be postponed, but the safety of all Queenslanders during this time is paramount.
As soon as we are in a better position to advise and suitably plan for the rescheduled event we will be in touch with each and every one of you.
I will personally be in touch with those who have registered to participate in the event in the coming days.
We hope that all of you have not been too personally impacted by this pandemic and you and your families remain safe.
