It’s a wrap: $52,000 raised for Drought Angles to support QLD farmers

We have wrapped up this incredible event with a video pulling it all together, showcasing this great initiative helping Drought Angels support Queensland farmers.

Thank you thank you thank you…Mayor Tom Tate for your incredibly generous support of the ‘Long Drive for Drought’. Mayor Tate outbid everyone at the #lgaq2020 Annual Conference where we ran one final auction for the jersey donated by Arthur @ QRL – Queensland Rugby League. This means that we have raised an incredible $52,000 for Drought Angels to support out struggling farmers.

A big thanks to the team at Grizzly Bear Media (Katy and Shaun) and master story teller Kim Craig Skubris for helping us pull this great piece together shining the light back on drought!

Also a big thanks to Channel 7 Creek to Coast for coming along on day 1 and sharing the footage.

2,500km 8 nights $52,000 raised (more on this shortly)!

Share widely to keep awareness on this great cause!
